How To Draw Cartoon Frogs For Kids

Step 1
How draw a cartoon frog. For kids, it's easy. Get a regular sheet of printer paper and a #2 pencil. You will also need an eraser and a magic marker.

Your cartoon frog doesn't have to look like mine.

If it doesn't turn out the first time, keep trying. You will get it right soon.

Draw lightly so the lines are easy to erase.

Start by drawing a simple triangle.

Step 2
Add 2 circles to the top of the triangle.

Add 2 dots inside the 2 circles.

Step 4
Draw a half circle for a smile.

Step 5
Add 2 tear dropped shapes (see below). Put one on each side. These are the legs of the frog.

This is the tear dropped shape for the legs.

Step 6
Add to lines in the tear drops.

Step 7
Add wedges to the bottom of the frog for feet.

Step 8
Add 2 tall squares for the front feet. Don't worry if you can see the rest of the frog through the squares.

Step 9
Add 2 more boxes for the feet. Make them any size you want.

Step 10
Now use the magic marker and go over the lines you want to keep.
I added points to the ends of the feet for flippers.

After the marker line is dry, carefully erase the pencil lines.

Step 11
Add eye lashes for a girl frog.
You can also add cheek circles.

Color your cartoon frog.
